After 18 months of waiting, the Museums and Galleries Exhibition tax relief finally gained Royal Assent on the 16th November 2017 as part of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2017. This means that the Museums and Galleries Exhibition tax relief is now law and fully in effect. The date from which the tax relief can be claimed has been backdated to April 2017.
