The Importance of Company Values

Values are the foundation of a company’s culture and help to define its purpose and identity. Our values makes sure that we are all aligned in what we do, and provide all staff with a sense of direction for their work and enable them to make day to day decisions that align with the company’s purpose.

As a rapidly-growing team, we felt it important to spend some time together reflecting and discussing our values and agreeing what they should look like. We engaged Louisa Berman to facilitate a Lego Serious Play Workshop for the whole team, where we used the medium of Lego to make our values come alive! Our conversations distilled around four key values:

  • Trust and Integrity
  • Collaborative and Respectful Relationships
  • Inclusiveness
  • Building a Better and More Sustainable Future

We now use these values across our work – from the Personal Development Plans and performance conversations we have across the team, to how we engage with clients and set out the expectations of working with us.
